Produce -Tune into Nature

It’s a mindfulness breathing guided meditation app that immerses viewers in a natural environment, aiming to help them deal with stress, anxiety, and negative emotions. The app helps users focus on their breathing while the surroundings provide fascinating stimuli.

This prototype was the result of practice-based and participatory action research, where members of a disabled community in Paisley, Scotland, were consulted in a cyclical manner, following a user-centered experience design process embedded within a 'Software Development Life Cycle' (SDLC) to identify the participants' wishes and needs. The 360-degree video recordings were made in local places recommended by the participants. These locations held emotional significance for them, serving as virtual spaces of wellbeing, supported by theories of natural healing landscapes. The videos were edited using the Adobe suite and imported into Unity to be deployed within a VR headset.

Discovery - Memory Game
